Common questions

Start with your workflow.

What can the prediction algorithms help us understand?

Explore cost and time ranges, scenario differences, and the drivers behind the outlook. Pair those insights with project reviews, reporting, and decisions about scope, procurement, and delivery.

Can we begin before construction starts?

Yes. Estimate Intelligence, Schedule Intelligence, and Risk Lens support early cost, schedule, and scope discussions. Start with the available information and review assumptions as the project develops.

Can we use OntaBuild if B Team is not our contractor?

Yes. The platform is designed to support projects delivered by other contractors. B Team's construction services and the digital platform can each be used independently or together.

How do OntaCore and OntaAudit work together?

OntaCore provides the portfolio and forecast layer. OntaAudit connects to an OntaCore project to review individual pay applications across six verification domains, with findings informed by the project's payment history.

How does OntaBuild support more accurate reviews?

The document engine uses independent extraction, consensus, and verification gates. Captured values retain source information, and audit findings include page-level citations. This helps reviewers inspect the evidence and apply consistent checks.

Does the platform make payment decisions?

A named human makes the decision. OntaAudit surfaces findings and supporting evidence; the reviewer decides whether to approve or request follow-up.

Where should we start?

Bring the workflow that consumes the most supervisory time: pay-application review, a monthly project review, reporting, or schedule review. The team can discuss your records, review criteria, and how the relevant products fit your process.

Can we connect the document engine to our own application?

The engine is available as an API for verified structured data from construction document sets. Discuss your application and document workflow with the team.
